At the great age of 99 years, Mrs Tareha sen., has just died at Hawke’s Bay.

Davies, passed away at the Hawera Hospital on Sunday last. The deceased lady, who was nearly 72 years, was born in Herefordshire. England. Mrs Davies settled in Normanby about twelve years ago, where she was much respected. She is survived by her husband (Mr John Davies), three sons and two daughters. Out of forty-three applications from all parts of the Dominion, Mr A. F. Graham, of Dunedin, was appointed secretary of the Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. He is a single man, aged 31, and has his widowed mother and sister dependent on him, his brother Having been “killed in action” on the Gallipoli Peninsula. He has been for the past seven years assistant iu the office of the Otago Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
