Per Press Association. Wellingon, May 12. Referring to the sugar question in the House to-day, Mr Massey said ihat a great proportion of the scarcity of sugar was due to people buying up supplies, as they were afraid that the price would he increased at ton end of June, lie would communicate to the House information that he had just received, to the effect that the price would not 1)0 raised at the end of June, and he hoped later to be able to announce that it would not he raised at all.
