TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
Interest is 'growing in the coming Winter Show, the seventh in the hisj tory of the Society, which will be held ■in the Coronation Hall New Plymouth on June 7th, Bth, 9th, and 10th. Entries arc coming in well, and bid fair to exceed those of any previous years. Appli;ai ions for space have been much heavier than ever made before. As has been previously, noted, butter and cheese classes are far in advance of the previous best record, there being 82 butter entries and 60 cheese. Applications from proprietors of milking machines have been very good, so that visitors may rely on seeing the very latest and best in the milking machine world. Poultry classes especially are good this year, and ’are rare to attract large entries. Ihe North Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary A ssaeir i ion have allotted championships in the following classes lor pigeons: Working homers ? magpies, I tumblers, owls and lurhits and clraIgoons. Exhibitors are requested to note that general entries will close on Saturday, May 27tlg at 9 p.m., with the secretary. Schedules and any further information will be readily supplied on application to the office by telephone or letter.
