'f HEREBY give notice that the term JL of appointment of Mr Charles Janies Ryan to the Taranaki Land Board will expire on 25th July, 1910, and nominations for the election of a member to fill the vacancy will be received at this ofiice up to 5 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, June 7th, 1910. No person shall ho eligible for election unless he is nominated in writing by at least two lessees entitled to vote and the nomination paper bearing candidate’s consent is received by mo before nominations close. STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL. AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO WATERWORKS BY-LAWS. ATOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council held at the Borough Council Chambers on the Bth day of May, 1916, it was resolved tiiat the Council should by Special Order adopt, pass, and make the By-laws, a copy of which was toon produced, amending and adding to the Waterworks By-Laws of the Council of the Borough of Stratford, and that at the ordinary meeting of the Council to bo held in the Borough Council Chambers, Broadway, on the 12th day of June, 1916, at the hour of 7.30 p.m., the said resolution will he confirmed as a Special Order of the Council, and at such ordinary meeting the Council will also fix the Ist day of July, 1916, as the date upon which such By-laws shall come into force. The object and purport of the said I By-laws is to exclude from the ordinary supply, water used for waterclosets, and to include the same in the extraordinary supply, and to charge for such water so used, the rates specilied in such By-laws. A copy of the said By-laws is deposited at the office of the Council, Broadway, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours from the date hereof up to and inclusive of the said 12th day of June, 1916.
