WATERSIDE WORKERS' DISPUTE. IUNITK) PbIM 'A«800I/.*JION.] (Received 10.10 a.m.) Sydney, May 10. Justice Higgins delivered an important judgment in the case of the Melbourne Steamship Company's application against the Waterside Workers' Federation for an injunction to forbid breaches of the award and agreement. The applications were dismissed, the judge holding that an breach of agreement was made outside the award, but not having reference thereto it was not a breach of the award, inasmuch as the award does not deal with tbe subject of ceasing; work.
