On Friday morning, so the j story goes, one of the assistant Public Service Commissioners paid a visit to the Department, took a pair ot steps, mounted to:the top of the safe,! and ; %ok possession of the. cash-box. -and the book in which-is kept a record 9 f the payments made towards the fund.
