TARANAKI WINTER SHOW. The need.leworkers are reminded that the Winter Show will be on the 7th, Bth., 9th, and 30th June, and that a most attractive fancy work section has been included in this year's schedule with generous prizes attached. The Society, being anxious that the standard of art needlework should lie raised in the district has carefully revised this section and is securing the services of an expert judge from outside this district. It is to be hoped that the needlewomen of Taranaki will show their appreciation of the Society's efforts by sending in exhibits for competition, and making this class as attractive as i>; deserves to be. The attention of intending exhibitors in the cooking section is drawn to the special prizes donated by the XT'. Co. for cooking done by a gas Icooker.
