An engagement of general interest is announced between Miss Mary Selwyn, a daughter of the late Bishop John Selwyn of Melanesia, and the Kev. Charles Palmer, of Wellington (a son of the late Archbishop Palmer, of Norfolk Islands). Bishop Selwyn *nd Archbishop Palmer were for years closely associated with the work of the Melanosian Mission.
