NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the ’ 'Stratford Borough Council, held on the I.oth day of April, 1916, the following resolution was duly passed, and that thei sartie will be submitted foi* confirmation ■ ns a Special Order of the Council, at a further Special Meeting of .the Council, to he held in the (domicil' Chambers, Broadway, on the Bth day of May, 1916, at 7.30 p.m.
RESOLUTION. That in exorcise of the powers conferred on it by Sections 141, 142 and 113 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” the Stratford Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to accept a Surrender from Frederick William Webster, of Stratford, Auctioner, and Frank Edward Dobson, of Stratford, Stock Agent, of Memorandum of Lease Registered No. 9382, of Subdivision 1, part of Section 326, Town of Stratford, as from Ist June, 1916, and to flie Grant in lieu thereof of a new lease for the unexpired portion of the existing term (being for a period of 6 years and 1 calendar month from Ist June, 1916) to Allan Findlay Mollison, of New Plymouth, Draper, (Sublessee from the said Frederick IV illiam Webster and Frank Edward Dobson) of the Ground-floor shop (19 feet 3 inches in width by 72 feet 8J inches in depth), erected on part of the said premises and shown as Number 10 on the plan of the buildings of which the said shop forms a part deposited ih the Land Transfer Office at Now Plymouth as No. 3434, together with a right-of-way thereto from Broadway through the Arcade and passage shown as Numbers 6 and 8 respectively on the' said plan of the said buildings, at the yearly rental of £lB2, payable by equal monthly payments in advance, and subject, with any necessary additional covenants and conditions, to similar covenants, conditions and restrictions (with certain slight modifications) to those in the existing lease, excepting Clause's 8. 9 and 10 thereof.
