St. Johns, May 2 The steamer Matalua has been refloated . MINES IN MEDITERRANEAN. TWO BRITISH NAVAL SHIPS SUNK. THIRTEEN MEN MISSING. The High Commissioner reports: — London, May 1 (8.25 p.m.) The British armed yacht Aeguesa and minesweeper Nasturtium struck mines in the Mediterranean and both sunk. The officers of both ships were saved, but thirteen men are missing.
TURKISH TRANSPORT SUNK. BRITISH SUBMARINE IN THE SEA OF MARMORA. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Salonika, May 2. A British submarine sank the Turkish transport Chirketihairie with troops at Rodosto.
