FOR TREASON. DEATH AND IMPRISONMENT. Amsterdam, April 29. The Frankfurter Zeitung states that at a trial tor treason at Serajevo sixteen persons, including ex-Deputy Vasij Groji, and a priest, Mattia Poppovitch, were sentenced to death; sixty-eight others to penal servitude, ranging from one to twenty years, and twenty-five others wore acquitted.
DECORATED BY THE KAISER. CELEBRATING TURKISH VICTORY AT KUT. (Received -8.5 a m.) dlerlip, May 1. The Kaiser decorated Krnpp von Bolden with a first-class [ion Cross and added that owing to his labors Germany was winning the war. The German school ■'children will get a whole holiday in celebration of the surrender of General Towusheml at Knt, and will only go to school to hear a patriotic lecture on the Turkish victory.
