; OFF TO CAMP. | STRATFORD'S BATCH FOR b«AV. FAREWELL OH THE STATION. A lareg number of people assembled on the railway platform this morning ‘to bid farewell to the members of tho May contingent of the Reinforcements who left for camp by the mail train. The men were given a hearty fareue , 'and as the train left the platform three cheers were given for the departing soldiers. , v His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. «• Boon) in a short speech, compliment- : C( ! the men on their excellent appealanee, and said they all looked very iit Twenty-five men wore going away from Stratford, which was about, nine over the quota.
