HANGED IN A CELLAR. PEE PHEBB _AnB>:niATION. Auckland t April 28. Horace Howard Crofts was found dead, hanged by a rope in a cellar beneath his residence, Pompallier ' Terrace, Ponsonby. He had evidently tied a rope to a gas-pipe and the other end round his neck, and then jumped oil' a box. He bad been suffering from ; nervous breakdown.
