In the Air
I ZEPPELINS VISIT ENGLAND. NO BOMBS DROPPED. United Pbesb Association. (Received 9.40 a.m.) London, April 28. A Zeppelin flew over a Kentish coastal town last night, but dropped no bombs, and departed after heavy gunfire. Similar reports come from one or two other localities. ! The newspapers note the improvement in signalling the Zeppelins' approach and also in the gun range and markmanslrip. ACTIVITY ON WESTERN FRONT. (Received 10.30 a.m.) i Paris, Aipril 28. A communique states: Several aerial battles have occurred. A German aeroplane was brought down in the Fromezey district. Two others were seriously damaged, one near Douaumont, and the other at Montfarcon wood. A Fokker also fell near Nestles Chaullne. A French air squadron dropped eighteen bombs on the Lamarche railway station, in Woevre.
