The Irish Association cabled Mr Redmond and Mr Asquith condemning and deploring the disturbances in Ireland. ARCHBISHOP CARR'S VIEWS. (Received 10.5 a.m.) Melbourne, April 28. Referring to the Irish Rebellion, Archbishop Carr said it was possible the outbreak was directed to discredit the Nationalists almost as much as against the authority of the Crown. He -regarded the disturbance and the outbreak as madness.
