SOLDIERS RETURI^NG. TARANAKI MEN ON ULIMAROA. The Ulimaroa, which is due shortly, is bringing 223 soldiers and six nurses back to New Zealand. Eighteen men are returning for duty, while ~two are returning for their commissions. The following Taranaln men are on the steamer:— Trooper Daniel J. Davis( Mrs Mary Davis, Kohuratahi). Trooper Harold G. H. Jordan (Mrs Ann Jordan, New Plymouth). Trooper Norman E. Lehmann (Mrs A. Lehmann, Stratford). Trooper Duncan W. Poole (D. A. Poole, Auroa). Private Jesse Butler (Mrs Bighani, Hawera). WOUNDED SOLDIERS’ FUND.
