FOOTBALL.

THE TOKO CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Toko Football Club was held m the Coronation Hall, Toko, on Thursday ■evening, 6th hist. Mr W. H. V<ere, presided, aid there was a moderate number of members present. The balance-sheet showed the receipts to be £l7 6s lltl, and the expenditure £lO Us Bd, leaving a credit balance of £6 16s 3d. During the evening, Mr Were, in a few well-chosen remarks, presented a wristlet natch to Private Arthur fnglis, who was home on leave, the honored guest suitably responding. A hearty vote of thanks to the officers, members of committees, and the Hon. Sec. for their services during the year was passed unanimously, and a similar vote to the chair terminated the meeting.
