PURSUIT OF THE TURKS IN ASIA

A communique says : Desperate fighting in the coastal region in Caucasia drove the Turks, who were supported by artillery, from a strongly organised position of'great natural strength on the left bank of the Kara Dere, sixteen miles east of Trebizond. We arc energetically pursuing them. The enemy wore repulsed with great loss in repeated enemy attacks in the direction of Baiburt.
