THE TRENTHAM CAMP.
MR BARTLETT'S IMPRESSIONS. Per Press Association. Wellington, April 15.' Interviewed after a visit to' Trentjiam, Mr Ashmead Bartlett said: Trenfcham struck me first as being a very good site % a c . an ip. The arrangements for housing the men are admirable, and everything possible is done for their comfort. Also, it is a. fine natural training ground, with excellent rifle ranges. The hutments for the .men especially impressed me. They are better than anything I have .seen in Australasia." Mr Bartlett also said that the camp appeared to be well run, and he was much impressed by the seriousness 'and earnestness of the men. Their physique was also very remarkable, and seeme;? to compare very favorably with the first, contingent who landed .at Gallipoli ) although there seemed to be a number of elderly men among them. The New Zealand reinforcement drafts on their arrival at Gallipoli were thought very highly of, especially the mounted men and infantrv.
