CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES TOURNEY. The Taranaki Bowling Centro’s annual champion of champions singles tournament will be held on the Startford Club’s green on Thursday, commencing at 9 o’clock a.m. sharp. There are eight entries, which have been divided into two sections, the drawings of which are detailed hereunder. Messrs C. Smart and S. M, Porritt have been appointed to take charge of the games, which will be 21 heads up, ties to be played oil the extra head:— SECTION A. . First Round. Rink s—McDonald (Manaia) v. Sharp (Stratford). Rink 4—Fookes (New Plymouth), v. Sutherland (Inglewood). Second Round. Rink 3—McDonald v. Fookes. , Rink 2—Sutherland v. Sharp. Third Round. Rink 6—Fookes v. Sharp. Rink 7—McDonald v. Sutherland. SECTION B. First Round. Rink 2—W. Lambic (Pihama), v. S. Smith (Eitzroy). Rink 3—Parkinson (Hawora), v. Bradford (Auroa). Second Round. Rink G—Lambie v. Bradford. Rink 7—Pari vinson v. Smith. Third Round. Rink 4—Parkinson v. Lambie. Rink s —Smith v. Bradford.
