INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
ATTACKING THE DfSEASE. Per Fbfss Absooiatios. Wellington, April 10. Dr. Sydney Smith, Wellington District Health' Officer, in an interview to-day regarding infantile paralysis, said the effects of the colder weather w;ould not be noticeable for a week or two, when there would probably bo a diminution in the disease. He empimsise.d the necessity for absolutely sanitary and hygienic conditions, and for, dininfecting public meeting places. To-day, three fresh cases of the disease were reported, ode each from Wellington, Picton, and Waipulntrau.
