United States, Chili, Costa Rica, Egypt Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Pago Pago, Paraguay, Portugal, and Portuguese Colonies, Siam. Servia, and Postal Agencies in Chinese Treaty Ports, Id for each oz. or fraction thereof; all other places for the first oz. or fraction thereof, and lsd for each succeeding oz. or fraction thereof. Post Cards.—lnland, single, \d; reply, Id; all"'other places, single, Id; 'reply 2d. Printed Papers (including Books and Magazines, not registered).—All places, id per 2oz. Magazines (registered), inland, Jd for every Boz. or fraction thereof. Foreign, |d per 2oz. or fraction thereof. One end must he left opev Commercial rapers.—-Town (foi rtccounts, etc., only) £d for 2ozs.. or Id for first 4oz. and ]d each succeeding 2oz. Inland. Id for first -loz.. and Jd for each succeeding 2oz. All other places lOoz. 2Vd and Jd for every additional 2oz. (Open for inspection). If under Boz. sent by first avadable route; over Boz. sent by direct steamer only; unless specially addressed and pa'd at rate of ">'l for first 4oz. and id for each succeeding 2oz. All other places Id each under loz. amd id each extra 2oz. TELEPHONES. Cnarges.—At Exchanges continuous, ly open—Business establishments, £< ; private residences, to per annum. Exchanges not continuously open, an equal charge of £5. Telephone Exchauges at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin. Invereargill, Xapier, Hastings, Palmcrston North, and Wanganui are open all day and all night. The other Exchanges chiefly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
