Chortle having a bad passage, and won by three lengths, third horse two lengths away. Time, 1 12 2-5. Tinakori Handicap.—3 Halina 1,2 Sea Down 2, 15 Bairnsdale 3. Scratched: Multoe and Anzae. Won on the post. Time, 1.13 2-5. AUCKLAND TROTS. Auckland, April 5. The Auckland Trotting Club's autumn meeting opened to-day in fine weather.
