An enjoyable game was played on the local green yesterday between rinks representing the Colts and Veterans. With the best of the luck, the Veterans finished with a margin of 17 points in their favour. The detailed scores were as follows (Colts being mentioned .first in each ease):— Lopdcil. On the New Plymouth green yesterday, three links from Okato were defeated by 73 points. A friendly game between Waitara and West Fnd. played at Waitara, resulted in the local team being defeated by 31. Six rinks of New Plymouth bowlers, journeyed to Hawera on Thursday, l and after n keenly contested gaine proved victorious, the scores being 122 to lIS. At Manaia, a New Plymouth team of three rinks was defeated iiy the home team, the margin being 26 points.
