We fired on the Germans south of Dvinsk, who were evacuating their flooded trenches, and repulsed an enemy offensive on the railway west of Tarnopol. IVANOFF’S SUCCESSOR. (Received 9-40 a.m.) London, April 5. Experts point out that General Ivanoff is a great artillerist and mathematician and that his plans left nothing to chance. Blousiboff, General of Cavalry, succeeds him.
