SOME OF THE COMPETITIONS. I The following are some of the competitions and the prizes attached thereto for Soldiers' Day. Entries are free, and any decorations of paper, etc., may he used:— Best poster dress—Mr Masters', prize, value 7s Gd (Ist) Mr Drake's os (2nd). Best decorated bicycle (boys).—Mrj Marshall's silver medal, Mr Hopkins'j value 2s 6d; girls, Mr Edwards' ss, Mr Hopkins 2s 6d. Decorated push cart or go-cart —Mr Tichbon's ss, Mr Richardson's 2s 6d. Any other cart drawn by child.—Alt'. Moon's os, Mr Richardson's 2s Gd. Prettiest dressed children, tandem— Melbourne Factory's ss, Mr Kirby's 2s 6d, Children's four-in-hand—Mr Bellringer's ss ; Mr Kirby's 2s Gd. Decorated animals.—Mr Foley's ss, Morey and Son's 2s 6d. ; Decorated sunshade.—Mr White's ss, Morey and Son's 2s 6d. Decorated ladies' bicycle.—Mr Peters' os, Mr Rawles' 2s 6d. Gentleman's fancy dress—Mr James' ss, Mr Rawles' 2s 6d. Ladies' fancy dress.—Mr Mano.v's 10s, Mr Walters' ss. Decorated child's doll pram. —Mr Lowers' 3s, Mr Lewers' 2s. Best advertising banner (boys).—Mr Crubb's 3s Gd, Mr Grubb's 2s Gd.
