[U VITRO pRTI'BB BHOOIATION. 1 (Received 11.15 a.m.) v London, March 30. The Allies’ policing operations at Greek ports and islands aroused excitement in Athens. There were stormy meetings of the Chamber, and the sitting was frequently suspended. The Premier was grossly insulted on his refusal to give an explanation, being greeted with hisses. There were demonstrations in the streets, and cavalry broke up the meetings.
ANYTHING MAY HAPPEN. London, March 30. Mr Ward Price writes that the Ger--1 man troops which recently crossed the frontier evacuated Greek territory after some artillery firing. The Germans are now busily improving their defensive positions. The Fconch and German outposts are so close that any little movement may bring on fighting. DISCOVERY AT CORFU. VAST SUBMARINE SUPPLY ORGANISATION. (Received 1.10 p.m.) Paris, March 30. Lo Journal states that a vast espionage and submarine supply organisation has been discovered at Corfu. Forty persons were arrested and sent to France,, including the landlord of the leading hotel.
