A communique says: We occupied a small town thirty miles east of Trebizoud, and repulsed a series of Turkish counter-attacks. We carried a night attack on the town of Hazan, south-east of Bitlis. WORK OF RUSSIA'S FLEET. (Received 8.15 a.m.) Petrograd, March 1 29. A communique states : —Our torpedo sunk ten sailers on the Anatolian coast and ignited munition depot.
