After the war capital and labor would be required here to develop the country. Was the Nation to leave it to the will of those possessing capital to say how the developments would take place? At the Salvation Army Congress the State Governor announced that he had received a letter from General Booth suggesting that the_ widows and children of English soluiors killed in the lighting, should be sent to the Overseas Dominions. new naturalisation bill, (Received 9.30 a.m.) Melbourne, March ‘29. A new Naturalisation Bill to be introduced next Federal session provides for the compulsory registration of all foreigners entering the Commonwealth and will probably enable the widows of foreigners to retain their Australian status.
