CRICKET.

PUBLIC WORKS MATCH. At Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon, teams representing the Public Works Department at Stratford and Kapuui (combined) and Kohuratahi met for their annual match. The home team were victorious by eight wickets and six runs. The Stratford fielding and howling improved in the second innings, and the Kohuratahi men wore dismissed for 10, leaving the home team to secure twenty-four runs in twenty minutes.
