An official account of the rescue of the shipwrecked men of the Cyrenaica (lost on the North African coast), .says that it was due to armed motors, with ambulances, that travelled at a speed of 121 (21?) miles an hour from Solium, and surprised the guards, who fled but were overtaken and killed.
