PORTRAITURE. Faithful and pleasing Portraits have been the. main cause of Mr McAllister's success in Stratford. Under the new conditions better work than ever will be produced and effects in lighting not obtainable in the old Studio will here be easily effected. ENLARGEMENTS from original negatives and from copies have always had special care and in this line the Stratford Studio has a Dominion reputation, pictures being sent regularly to larger centres in both the North and South Islands. Enlargements finished in sepia, or black and white, also by a new m ilhod of colouring, which preserves all the natural delicacy of the photograph and emphasises the likeness. THE PRICES for Enlargements (all kinds) are very reasonable and if work of this nature is wanted a quotation should be obtained here before placing an order. ALL NEGATIVES are carefully indexed and during the past twenty years thousands -have been filed away. Prints or enlargements can be done from any of these promptly, cheaply and very much better than anyone else can copy them. GROUPS TAKEN in the new Studio will have the advantage of modern methods of lighting and ample room for any reasonable group. and material used are of the best. There are no better lenses in the world than are in use here. Plates, chemicals, paper, mounts, etc., are the finest that can be bought. THE STAFF are enthusiastic and experienced and will spare no effort to please.
