a Wanganui Press Association message to-day states that the W.C. DU■ Convention has decided to circulate for signature a petition asking that hotel bars he closed at six p.m. daily. Indications for electrical disturbances. The barometer has a falling tendency. Bates, Wellington. The senior cadets’ parade at the school grounds on Friday evening, at 7.30, as usual. Thanks to the management of His Majesty’s Picture Theatre, the cadets will he admitted after parade that evening to the picture show at half rates, the company marching thence after parade. it ' s the intention of Lieutenant Gray to address the lads after half-time, his subject being “The life and Training of a Senior Cadet.” Lieutenant Gray thoroughly understands his subject, and can lie depended upon to make his address interesting to all. Young men, especially, should not miss being in attendance at His Majesty’s on Friday night.
