THE SLINGSBY CASE. CHIL ODEGLAREO ILLEGITIMATE [Unitmd Varna Amootation.l London, March 13. The Appeal Court decided that the Slingsby child was illegitimate. '1 ho judges decided that deiidy was, the child of Lilian Anderson and that it was impossible to believe Mrs Slingsby’s story. Her husband as guardian ad litem was condemned*! o pay costs. (Mr Slingsby is a member of an old Yorkshire family. Teddy was’ said to have been born when All's Slingsby was at San Francisco, but it was admitted that she put an advertisement in the paper for a'child fo adopt.) -
