Weather Forecast. —The indications .are for variable and moderate breezes with moderate to strong northerly winds prevailing, with mild and hazy conditions. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled at times, misty rain is to be expected. Barometer unsteady.—Bates, Wellington. At the general meeting of the Stratford Patriotic Committee this afternoon, it was decided to hold a garden fete on the showgrounds on Easter, Monday in aid of the Wounded Soldi-j ers' Fund. Preliminary matters in connection with the fete were discussed, and it was decided to call a meeting* for, next Tuesday, at 2.30 p.m., '>f the general committee, the Ladies' Committee, and all interested.
