General Lake reports that General Aylmer, on the Bth, was operating seven or eight miles from the right bank of the Tigris. In consequence of lack of water he was obliged to fall back to the river. ' TURKS CLAIM MUCH SUCCESS. Amsterdam. March 11. A Turkish communique says: The enemy attacked with their main forces on March 8, from the right bank of the Tigris. A river fleet brought up reinforcement*, enabling the enemy to temporarily occupy portion of our trendies/ wh»h were wholly recaptured, disclosing two thousand of the enemy dead. Our losses were small. RAILWAY OFFICES BURNED. Athens, March 11. Bagdad reports that the railway offices at Adna have been burned, and incendiarism is supported,
