The newspapers point out that Germany owes Brazil £4.800,000 for coffee. They suggest, with a view -O relieving the congestion of exports, that the Government negotiate for the chartering of German merchantmen, lying in Brazilian harbours, and threaten the most rigorous measures in the event of Germany refusing.
