SCHOOL SWIMMING.
RED CROSS CARNIVAL. The High School hoys' swimming sports in aid of tjio Hod Cross Fund were held yesterday afternoon in the school baths. The weather was fine and there was a large attendance. The success of the gathering was due principally to the following officials: —Mr P. Skoglundj who worked very hard
•as starter; Mr Pinhey, an efficient ! timekeeper; Mr Lister ns judge, whose decisions were promptly and satisfactorily given"; and Mr Kivell (caretaker of the baths), who assisted ! greatly in putting the competitors <on the mark.
