CHASING THE TURKS. REPORTED SLAUGHTER OF ARMENIANS. [tTNinm Pb«m Amocutiow.i Petrograd, March 9. A communique says that; the troops on the coast of the Black Sea are ■pressing the Turks closely. We capI tured Rizeh, and we also occupied jSenneh, fifty versts north of Kermanjshah. I It is officially stated thafc 40,000 Armenians were at Erzerum prior to its capture, but the Russians only found 116 alive. The police at Erzerum, a few days before the capture, drove outf 'all the Armenians westward, where Ithe Kurds, who were forewarned, ;massacred them.
