HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, dated London, March 4 ; Butter. —The market is very firm. Danish, dull market, per cwt., 178 s to 180 s; New Zealand, market firmer, 160 sto 1625, up to 164.5; unsalted 162 sto 1665; fair to good quality 154 s to 158 s; Australian, good demand for all descriptions, 156 sto 160 s; Argentine 148 s to 150 s; Siberian 126 s to 134 s. Cheese.—The market remains firm. Canadian, steady market, per c\*t., 99s to 100 s; New Zealand, market firm, with an upward tendency; White 97s to 98s; colored 98s; English Cheddar, firm market', 106 s up to 110 s; Cheshire, very scarce, 114 s up to 120 s; United States, market firm with an upward tendency, 90s to 97sflats 85s to 965. On March 1 the estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks, London, Liveipool and Bristol, 96,000 boxes, against 78,000 boxes at the same time hist year. New Zealand and Australian cheese stocks, London and Bristol, 21,000 crates, against 14,700 crates lust year.
