IMPERIAL COMMISSIONS, FIVE NEW ZEALANDERS RECOMMENDED. Wellington, March 6. Tn accordance with the request of the New Zealand Defence Minister, General Godley lias recommended five New Zeahinders, who are now in England, for commissions in the Imiperial Avmy. Those recommended are Sergeant-Major Friedlander, Sergeant H. K. Howard, Sergeant G. R. J.. Porter, Sergeant 11. Krlam, and Trooper A. Strang. The .Minister lias approved ol these reconi mend at ions.
