A largo number of local residents congregated on the railway platform this morning to bid farewell to Captain J. B. Hine, MrP., and members of the 14th Reinforcements, wlio left for camp 1 j.v the mail train. The Stratford .Municipal Hand, under Conductor Marshall, was present and played patriotic music, and as the train drew away from the platform the Band played for "They are Jolly Good Fellows," and cheer alter cheer rang out from the people present. His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. W. Boon), i" wishing the men farewell, said he was pleased to see that the men were giving up practically everything to go and light for their country and liberty.
