WELCOMING THE MOEWE. CAPTURES AND BOOTY. COMMANDER AND CREW RECEIVE IRON GROSSES. Unitkd Press Association. (Received 1.15 p.m.) Amsterdam, March 5. A German naval communique states : The Moewe bfowght tour British officers, twenty-nine British marines and sailors, and IGb' members of the crew of the enemy's ships, including 103 Indians, also one million marks in gold bars from the vessels sunk, which included the Saxon Prince and the French steamer Maroui. The communique adds: The Moewe laid mines on the enemy const. to which the battleship Edward the Seventh fell a viqtlin among others. , The commander of the Moewe was decorated with an iron cross and summoned to meet the Kaiser to report his adventures. The whole crew received iron crosses of the second class.
