Christie, National organiser and lecturer to the .Thcosophical Society, will deliver a ifarewell series of lectures in Straford ,next week prior to her leaving for Ausralia. Viekers Ksq., an important property, situated apposite the Inglewood Railway Statim, and within three chains of the Inglewood Hotel. Ltd. will hold their Eltham sale on Wednesday, Bth inst., at I p.m. The Commissioner of Crown Lands advertises two sections in (he Wailara Survey District as open for sale or selection. Newton King will hold a supplementary sheep fair and cattle'sale at his Urenui vards on Monday at 12.30 l - > ■ P m . Tenders are invited by the Public Works Department for the construction of Waiwakaiho River Weir, New Plymouth. All information may be obtained at. the Public Works Office, I Stratford and Wanganui, and at the IPest Offices. New Plymouth and Hawera. Tenders close on .'3lst March. The N.Z. Loan and M.A. Co., Ltd., 'wish to draw the attention of the public to their Stratford sale, which they are holding in their Stratford yards on Tuesday, .March 7th. Full particulars will be found in our advertising columns on page 8 of this issue. The date of the New Zealand Loan and M.A. Co., Ltd's.. Stratford supplementary sheep fair is Monday, 6th March, not Thursday, as stated in Thursday's issue.
