HIS MAJESTY'S fHEATRE. "ALONE IN LONDON." .Miss Florence Turner is the "star" player in tho pictmisation of the well(known melodrama, "Alone in London," which appeared at H"?> Majesty's Theatre last evening. The plot is constructed on conventional lines. Biddicombe (a worthy young miller), is in love with Nan (a country girl), but she rejects him in order to marry Redolift'c (Q polished villain), who covets her money. Shortly, alter their wedding, RedcMe deserts Nan in London, and for some years shy ekes out a miserable existence selling flowers. The scheming Redcliffe ultimately finda himself in the grip of the law. Biddicombe remains true to Nan, and he is by her side when tho climax arrives. The wonderful monumental relics of Egypt's departed | glory are exhibited in "A Trip to Luxor." "The War Gazette," "The plight Girl" (Vita comedy), and "Thej ProblW " are exceptionally good items, which w|l) lie shown again tonight for the last Unit*.
