President Wilson lias requested the Chairman of the Rules Committee of the House of Representatives. t o »n. tain a vote respecting the question of armed merchantmen. The Senate will he asked to take a similar vote. President Wilson's letter to the Chairman says the reports that Congress is divided is being industriously used in Berlin and Vienna, thus exposing the country to serious risks, and he asks for immediate resolutions for the purpose of scattering all doubts. It is expected that the action will be taken on Thursday.
