ENEMY LEADER KILLED,

The High Commissioner reports: — London, February 28 (8.50 p.m.) In Egypt Saturday’s battle was a decisive British success. The enemy, under the personal command of. Xuri Bey, brother of Enver Pasha, held a [strong position fifteen miles south-east of Barani. The attack of the South 'African infantry, under General Lukin, was completely successful, and the charge of the Dorsetshire \eomanxy was brilliant and most effective. Haifa r. the chief subordinate Of Nm'i Bey. was wounded, and taken prisoner, and Xuri Bey was killed. Ihe enemy left 200 killed and wounded on the ground.
