AMUSEMENTS.
da LISSAC CONCERT, For the do fnssack concert last night the Town Hall, was packed in all parts ol the house, many being turned away. The young violinist, Henri do Eissac gave Dnn.ses S/.iganes Naclnv. and Kniawiak, the perForiaance of which stamped him as a gilted master of the violin. His technique was faultless, his wonderful playing coming as a revelation. Iho double stopping and harmonic effects were a great feature in the young artists playing. The other numbers played wore 1 jcgende w ieniawski A also, Tristo Sibelius Kol Nidrei, etc. Another little performer who is shaping in the way of becoming famous, is Henri’s little brother Maurice, a cellist of three years. The young artist wa s assisted bv Air Malone, who is a fine singer and was in excellent voice, one item being ‘Allow, Blow. Thou Winter Wind.” The eoncert was , 'ro’’i. ; lit to r> ile.se with the National Anllumis.
