TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SHOW The time for closing the entries for the big Autumn fixture is now drawing near, and consequently a large number are being received daily. The horse section will be very strong, as well as the Jersey, Ayrshire and Holstein classes in the cattle section, and among the exhibits will be found the very best strains in New Zealand. In addition to the splendid prizes offered in all classes, there are several good specials, which have been generously donated by well-wishers of tiie Society and which should be an inducement to exhibitors. The competitions for each day, which are always a big draw, are numerous, and the prize mone\ good, so that the public are assured of a good days' entertainment. Entries finally close with the secretary, New Plymouth, on Saturday next; and the Show will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 1 and 2,191 G.
