Large stores were in great de- • in and and still maintained excellent prices, while on the other hand, small stores met with fair competition only. 1 quote as follows:—Wcaners (medium) Gs to 9s, good lAis to 15s, I stores (small) 23s Gd to 255, medium ' 30s to £1 17s Gd, good £2 to £2 12s” l Gd, porkers £2 10s to £3 7s 9d.
